Directions by Rail
Taking the train directly from Gatwick Airport to Eastbourne is highly convenient and to a reasonable cost (Dec 2006: approx £12 single trip). The approximate journey time is only 55 to 60 minutes, and the trains run every half hour. Please see rail timetable link for details of train schedules.
Eastbourne can also be reached by rail from London Victoria direct. Services are every half hour; please use the link to National rail timetables to plan your journey. There is a limited service on the Thames link service from stations outside London (Journeys that would usually terminate at Kings Cross and St Pancreas) – this service does alleviate the need to cross between mainline London Stations, it does however involve changing at Haywards Heath or East Croydon.
Please use National Rail Enquiries to ascertain if this service is available for your journey.
